	We achieved our investors in people award in January 2005. This is a standard mark which recognises our investment in our employees and the structures we have put in place to support them in the work that they do and in the future of their careers. To quote from the Investors in People web site:


	‘The Investors in People Standard gives organisations a framework to ensure that their people have the right knowledge, skills and motivation to work efficiently. It ensures you develop strategies to improve the performance of your organisation and helps realise objectives through the management and development of people.’


	We are proud of the fact that the work that the organisation does is recognised in this way and see this award as an indicator of good practice, not an end in itself.
